Evides Water Company supplies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, safe, clean and tasty drinking water to 2.5 million customers and businesses in Zeeland, the southwest of South Holland and the Brabantse Wal. In addition, Evides offers customized industrial water services to large industrial customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, among others.
Evides uses a large number of custom applications to manage the infrastructure data. The data includes data on 1,100,000 home connections, the connected customers and their consumption, the geographical data of the entire pipeline network and the planning and registration of work by its own employees and third parties. A number of these applications have been in use for more than 25 years, other applications have been repeatedly migrated and supplemented with incomplete data through mergers, which has caused a lot of pollution in the data.
