Do you want to do a graduation internship for a company where Corporate Social Responsibility is the priority? We have a unique opportunity to do a graduation internship for a Goat Farm in the Netherlands via CIMSOLUTIONS where data analysis, Big Data and BI are central.
The Goat Farming is certified for the Sustainable Livestock Farming Standard (MDV). The core values for the company are: Animal, People, Environment and of course Quality. They do everything in the company to realize this.
Developments on a goat farm never stand still. There is always external regulation that makes goat farming interesting and above all challenging. By producing better than the average of the sector, the chance of survival is much greater.
Are you looking for a challenging internship where research and reporting of data and the possibilities of BI and Big Data are central? The company would like to investigate what is possible with the available data that is present, and possibly external data, to make even better and more sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship. The focus of the assignment is on future-oriented work and innovative entrepreneurship. Examples of data types from the management system are: milking, nutrition, young cattle rearing and animal health. Other available data are data from the feed machine, milk yield and the pedometer.
The elaboration:
In completing the assignment you demonstrate the following skills:
- Information analysis and research skills;
- Presentation, advisory and demonstration skills;
- Report/data design and testing skills;
- Working out the assignment in a structured manner;
- Reporting in writing and orally on the results of the assignment;
- Justifying choices regarding your approach and results with an eye for quality.
The expected results:
- Delivering and presenting the research;
- Deliver, demonstrate and implement the collected data/report;
- Delivery of user and maintenance documentation.
Required knowledge and experience:
- Good command of the Dutch language;
- Knowledge of and affinity with software development.
