Graduation Assignment Community Platform
What are you going to do?
Distributing current information within professional networks is indispensable in the current online era. We are looking for a candidate who is able to select a community software platform, with which various user groups can be approached quickly and easily.
The elaboration:
- determining the needs, requirements and wishes;
- selecting a community software platform;
- the realization of a development environment (resources and methods) with which CIMSOLUTIONS can further develop and maintain the community software platform;
- making recommendations regarding future developments in the field of community software.
The expected results:
- Research Report and an Action Plan;
- Working community software platform, including documentation, that can also be accessed via a smart device such as a Windows Phone or iPad;
- Action Plan to integrate the community software platform into the CIMSOLUTIONS Intranet;
- Final report with lessons learned, conclusions and recommendations regarding future developments and opportunities for commercial application.
In completing the assignment you demonstrate the following skills:
- justifying choices regarding your approach and results with an eye for quality;
- working out the assignment in a structured manner;
- analyzing, interpreting, evaluating and drawing conclusions from results;
- formulating conclusions and making recommendations for further action;
- report in writing and orally on the results of the assignment.
Required knowledge and experience:
- Good command of the Dutch language;
- Relevant experience with a programming language such as JAVA, SQL and relational databases;
- Knowledge of design and modeling techniques such as Use Cases and UML.
